Merry Colomer is a member of the European Film Academy (EFA), European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), the Spanish Film Academy and the Andalusian Film Academy.
Holding a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville, she began her professional career in the audiovisual sector across Seville and Madrid, where she worked as production coordinator in TV shows such as Caiga Quien Caiga and Cuarto Milenio. In 2009, awarded a Talentia Scholarship by the Regional Government of Andalusia, she moved to the United States to pursue an MFA in Film and Television Production, based in New York and Los Angeles.
Upon her return, she joined Morena Films as an associate producer alongside Juan Gordon, and has served as an executive producer within the company since 2018.
She has spearheaded notable projects including Carlota Pereda’s Cerdita (Piggy); Aritz Moreno’s Ventajas de Viajar en Tren (Advantages of Travelling by Train) and Moscas (Flies); Agustina Macri’s Miss Carbón; and the series Zorras (Vixens) for Atresmedia.
Her last production, La Luz, the new Fernando Franco’s film will be released in theaters in 2026 while simultaneously developing an extensive slate of upcoming projects, including new works by Carlota Pereda and Aritz Moreno among other filmmakers.
