“Tequila. Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll” is a documentary about legendary Spanish rock band Tequila featuring the participation of surviving members Ariel Rot, Alejo Stivel and Felipe Lipe. Narrated by Rot’s sister, Argentinean actress Cecilia Roth, it tells the story of the group, which emerged in the late 1970s and whose songs reflected the spirit of a generation determined to shake off decades of dictatorship. Five young men who were catapulted to fame overnight, and were destroyed by their success. But their songs endure, and are indestructible classics.
